About Us
What is DISU2?
DISU2 means if you’re disabled, you can do it too. We’re not here for sympathy or charity. We’re here to redefine possibilities, inspire others to aspire, and remind our people to struggle and thrive. DISU2 is a brand, a movement, and a statement for those who refuse to be boxed in by old narratives.
Why We Exist
For too long, the disability community has been overlooked, underestimated, and underserved. DISU2 was created to flip that script. We believe that disability doesn’t mean limitation — it means innovation, resilience, and strength.
We exist to challenge stereotypes, start real conversations, and build unapologetic spaces where disabled people can feel seen, heard, and respected. From bold apparel drops to community events, and a future digital platform where nobody gets silenced — DISU2 is about creating opportunities and claiming space.

Our Core Values
Capability / Self-Belief
DISU2 champions the inherent abilities of every disabled individual. We foster unwavering self-belief, proving that disability does not define ability. If you’re disabled, YOU can do it too.
Empowerment
We empower people to control their narratives, pursue their dreams, and live bold lives on their own terms. DISU2 is about giving you the platform, the voice, and the confidence to be unapologetically YOU.
Perseverance
We honor resilience and celebrate those who thrive in the face of challenges. Struggle isn’t the end of the story — it’s the fuel for YOUR next chapter.
A Message from the Founder
Hi, I’m Anthony Chotalal — the founder of DISU2.
I was born with cerebral palsy, and growing up, my family always encouraged me to live boldly. My dad and aunts never treated me like I was limited — they told me to run with the other kids, climb trees, play basketball, and ride my bike. I still remember the scratches and bruises from those adventures, and looking back, I’m grateful for that freedom and support.
But I know the experience of disability isn’t the same for everyone. Many face barriers that aren’t physical — like misunderstanding, judgment, or lack of opportunity. Sometimes the hardest part isn’t the disability itself, but how society treats it.
That’s why I started DISU2 — to build a space where every person, regardless of their challenges, can feel empowered to try, explore, and thrive. Disability is diverse, and every voice deserves to be seen and heard.
This isn’t just about hoodies or merch. It’s about creating a movement — a community that redefines what’s possible, lifts each other up, and proves that struggle is not the end, but the fuel for your journey
Every purchase you make here doesn’t just support a small business. It supports Canadian disability organizations, creates opportunities for disabled people, and helps change the narrative for people like us.
Thank you for being part of this movement with me. You belong here, and together, we’re building something stronger.
— Anthony Chotalal
The Story Behind DISU2
DISU2 was born from frustration — frustration with being underestimated, overlooked, and spoken for. I got tired of watching people like me get boxed in, so I built my own platform.
This isn’t just about merch. It’s about a mindset. A refusal to be silenced, a push to create spaces for authentic representation, and a commitment to lifting up the voices of those too often ignored.
We’re building a global powerhouse for disability advocacy, entrepreneurship, and community. And we’re just getting started.
